Ethics/Personal Life:
Has a blog post ever got you into trouble? Possibly. It depends on how you define trouble. How many people do you know face-to-face who read your weblog? Four or five, possibly more. Have you met any of your regional (or even remote) bloggers? I've never met any remote bloggers-- although I'd like to-- and as far regional, I know them all. Do you modify or delete posts? How often? Why? I will modify if I see a glaring grammatical mistake or delete if I feel I'm giving the wrong impression. How much is your weblog a part of your personal identity? I'd say it's fairly important. When I write in my blog, it's probably a bit more personal than it should be, but my goal with my blog is literally to reveal the heart of a poet. I write down whatever I'm feeling at that moment. It's a grumble spot, a place to poeticize, and just show who I am to people. Do you feel like people who don't know about your blog don't really know you? No, because there are friends who don't read who know me quite well. However, reading my blog would give anyone a head start on knowing me, sadly enough. How has blogging changed your life? It's improved my writing and that's life-changing to me. It's also brought me closer to a lot of online friends. Technical/Design: Do you know how to code at all? A fair amount. Did you learn how to code by blogging? No. What weblogging tool do you use and why? BlogSpot. I was introduced to blogging that way, and that's the way I've kept it. Does the design seem like something that is just something that has to be dispensed with in order to be able to write publicly, or is your design an integral part of your writing and presentation? Interesting question. I don't have the skills or time to make a uniquely-Camille blog, but I was lucky enough to find the beautiful template I now use, and I'd consider it to be an integral part of my blog. How many times have you changed your weblog design entirely (or nearly so)? Hm. There was the original 'Bohemian Storm,' which became 'Breakfast at Tiffany's or the mean reds" (Can't remember which. . .) About three times. Readership/Motivation: How many people would you guess (educated guess based on hit counts/logfiles) read your weblog on a weekly basis at least? About twenty-five to thirty people, I'd guess. What have you done to get more people to look at your site? *abashed* I'm a whore for glib media attention. I've joined cliques, posted my address on profiles at ff.net and the avonlea forum, and joined blogsnob. I like people to read what I write. What one or two characteristics make a blog really popular? Design for drawing people in, good writing to keep them. Are there things that you could do to have more people read your weblog that you conciously do not do? Why? Ugh. I don't know-- the glib media whore thing, remember? I guess post it in everything I do. . . oh, wait. I do that. ;) What really popular weblog do you think most deserves it...and/or least deserves it? I think the news article blogs are kind of dumb. I'd say the one that most deserves to be popular is Norah's, although I can think of a dozen more who also deserve it. How do you feel about your readership? They rock! :) It's also a bit scary, because I have no idea who half these people are. What makes for a quality readership to you? Someone who reads the posts as both a reflection of myself and a projection onto the world around us. Influence of Other Bloggers: What other blogger is most responsible for you starting your own weblog? Celyn and Kara. Kara told me I should get one, and Lita got me in gear by starting the GRRR bloggie. Who was the first other blogger (that you know of) who put you on their sidebar, and how did you feel? How did it influence your blogging? You know. . . I don't know. It was probably a GRRR girl. The first from the forum was Sea, I know that. What other blogger do you most admire for her writing skills? Norah (Groove Theory) and Meri (Jabbering Flibbergibbet). That's a hard question because I have a lot of friends who are writers, and their blogs are all wonderfully written. What other blogger do you most admire for her design skills? Definitely Cordelia's Civility. Her blog (design and writing, while I'm at it) is just lovely. Who is a blogger that you think is really good but doesn't get nearly the attention they are worthy of? Meri. Although I'm not sure she wants attention. :) Do you feel obligated to have people on your link lists/sidebars that you never read? I pretty much read them all at least once a week. Most I visit daily or every other day. What one or two characteristics define a really quality blog (in your humble opinion, of course)? Something that has thought and effort put into it. I like it when people don't continually post what they've had for lunch. ;) Bonus Question: Do you fear The Booge? Sure.

Milla blogged at 9:30 AM A GREEN Dragon Lies Beneath!I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Green Dragon on the inside. My Inner Dragon is the embodiment of Nature and the Earth. Greens spend almost all of their time below the canopy or just above the treetops in tropical rain forests. Not a bad life considering every other creature in the forest looks up to me, figuratively and literally. I speak the language of every animal and plant in my domain and know most of them by first name. If people mess with my forests, I'm more than happy to wail on their puny butts. Because of my protector/caretaker role, I am the Earth Elemental dragon. Naturally my whole life pretty much revolves around the other couple million species I keep an eye on, but that's not my whole dragon. I also like to like to impose my steadfast will on others, commune with Nature, and lobby governments for alternative fuels and conservation. My favorable attributes are gemstones, mountains, caves, soil, respect, endurance, responsibility, prosperity, and purpose in life. Folks shouldn't get the idea I'm a hippy pushover though, because my breath weapon is a nasty Fire/Acid combination. Maybe I should invest in a hemp shirt reading "Don't knock my smock, or I'll clean your clock." *wink*

Milla blogged at 10:39 PM ![]() You are the most universal mythical beast ever. Sightings of the unicorn have been reported from all over the world, even in these modern times. Unicorns are pure and incurruptible. In China, unicorns symbolised gentleness, good will, and wisdom. Christianity links the unicorn with Christ. It is said that unicorns would only allow virgin girls to see them, let alone touch them. They were easily lured into fatal ambushes by a virgin with some potchers waiting for the unicorn in nearby bushes. A unicorn's horn was a highly prised possesion, which was reputed to have great healing capabilities. With the touch of its horn, a unicorn could bring back a person who had been dead for several hours. But when disattached from the unicorn's body, the magic was suggnificantly reduced and could only protect against poison. The unicorn had the body of a horse, a unique spirling horn, and a lion's tail. They were pure white in color. Congradulations, you are a rarity amoung mythical beasts. There aren't enough of people like you in the world.

There are inconsistencies in your energy level, possibly triggered by external factors or emotional changes. You have a basically strong constitution, and should enjoy good health most of the time. I'm exceptionally artistic! Find your soul type at kelly.moranweb.com. Especially me characteristics in bold. :D Virtues: You look for immense creativity and individuality in people, including yourself. You're not happy with anything less than brilliant, and you focus on being expressive. You value energy, liveliness, and upbeat personalities, but you're not supportive of moodiness when you yourself can be unreliably moody. Seeking activity, you like the bustle of business but need the secluded atmosphere of a studio or private corner. Aspirations: You feel the need to express your talents, whether it be through writing, drawing, singing, dancing, composing, performing, or photographing. While you strive to ever improve your work, you want to display it as soon as possible when your impatience kicks in. You want to be a prodigy but you might not have the means right at your fingertips. Trust me, do NOT move to New York to do it. Yeesh! Quirks: Conformists bother you because of their lack of individuality. You're often late or unreliable. You're showy and refuse to share the spotlight. You only tell little white lies. You worm your way into the hearts of others, but be careful; some people despise the show-offs. Factors: Surround yourself with activity and you'll always have material to work with. Involve friends and family in your projects so they don't feel like envious outsiders. Future: Show business or not, you'll settle down happily if you're among those who appreciate your natural talents and desire to perform. Don't stay in one place too long, and don't be too hasty in defining your relationships. Who are you to judge what only time will tell?
